  • ensure your drawings are accurate and catch potential issues early on

If you need to update or cancel your request, please inform us as soon as possible. This helps us manage our time and resources efficiently. 

 

Note that any completed work will be invoiced accordingly, even if changes or cancellations occur.

No. We specialize in patent and trademark illustrations, 3D modeling, and assistance with 3D prototyping and prints.

What do I send to IPI?

We accept sketches, photos, and rendering in formats such as:

  • PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, JPG, PNG
  • Vector drawings (.SVG | .EPS | .AI)
  • CAD files / Solid models
  • .STP files
  • Inventor files (.IPT |.ASM)
  • SolidWorks files (.SLDASM, .SLDPRT)

For replacement drawings please provide:

  • Office Action or Invitation to Correct Defects
  • Copy of the drawings as filed

For design patent, specify:

  • The countries in which you will be filing
  • Claimed vs. Unclaimed matter

Our Process

After receiving your request, a member of our admin team will promptly acknowledge your inquiry. Our project managers will review the provided materials and email you with a delivery date for your initial draft, along with any follow-up questions before the begin work.

Our standard turnaround time is 5 business days. If you need your drawings sooner, let us know your filing date or timeline, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your deadlines.

If you have revisions, send us a mark-up of the changes, and we will update the drawings. We will provide a final copy in .PDF format once you give your approval.

  • We create our drawings in AutoCAD and provide design and utility drafts and formal drawings in PDF format.
  • Trademarks will be provided as a .JPEG.
  • We can also provide a Visio version (.vsdx) after the project is finalized.

Billing Procedures

We accept:

  • Checks
  • Money orders/cashier’s checks
  • ACH/bank drafts (request our bank details to set up ACH)

*Please note that we do not accept credit card payments at this time.
